Her musical, How Deep is The  Ocean? was part of the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival. It had a sold out run and was featured on the TODAY SHOW. Pia was a 2013-2014 Dramatist Guild Musical Theatre Fellow where she developed The Last Laugh and The Untitled Horse Musical. In 2015, she was a writer in residence at the The Johnny Mercer Writer’s Colony, where she continued to develop both musicals. The Last Laugh was part of the ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop, moderated by  Stephen Schwartz. Pia’s earlier works After The Crash and Four Of A Kind have had readings and productions at The Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, Fordham University in New  York, The Actors Theater of Orcas Island in Washington, and The Producers Club in New York.  Most recently, she has been commissioned by Grove Entertainment to write Lady Annabella, a new musical.
